Problem:
The SC Department of Mental Health Office of Suicide Prevention encountered challenges in effectively reaching teens and young adults with tobacco prevention messaging as part of the Tobacco Free SC initiatives.
Solution:
EMILY Revolutionary Marketing Group was engaged to strengthen advertising strategies and expand the reach of tobacco prevention messaging to the target audiences across South Carolina.
Key Actions Taken:
Event Advertising:
Developed and placed advertisements at South Carolina High School League (SCHSL) and South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) sporting events, including Lacrosse, Track & Field, Baseball, Softball, and Soccer.
Secured placements on LED displays at Colonial Life Arena, home of University of South Carolina sporting events, enhancing visibility to collegiate and statewide audiences.
Digital Advertising and Content Development:
Produced and implemented display ads, as well as 15- and 30-second video commercials, based on content provided by SC DHEC.
Launched a targeted online advertising campaign, managed by our SEO specialist, to strengthen the digital presence of tobacco prevention resources.
Deployed display ads through the AdCritter platform for wide-scale online distribution.
Ongoing Efforts:
The campaign is active and evolving, with additional advertisements, optimizations, and placements planned as part of ongoing project execution.
