Problem:

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cabarrus Health Alliance faced challenges in maintaining a positive public perception across the communities they serve. Recognizing the need for a refreshed and cohesive marketing approach, they partnered with EMILY Revolutionary Marketing Group in September 2022 to strengthen their communications and rebuild trust with the public.

Solution:

EMILY provided comprehensive marketing and branding services to support Cabarrus Health Alliance and 11 county health departments across North Carolina.

Key Actions Taken:

  • Brand Development:
    • Created updated branded collateral, developed new logos and taglines, and produced detailed branding guides for consistent communications across all participating counties.
  • Website and Social Media Enhancements:
    • Provided website update recommendations to improve user experience and alignment with new branding initiatives.
    • Developed strategic content calendars and managed social media content creation to empower each county’s marketing efforts.
    • Delivered creative campaign materials tailored to resonate with local communities.
  • Training and Stakeholder Support:
    • Conducted in-person and virtual training sessions for health department staff, equipping them with the skills and resources needed to sustain marketing efforts independently.
    • Introduced CloudCampaign, a social media scheduling tool, to streamline posting and content management for participating counties.
  • Impact:
    • Marketing staff from 8 of the 11 counties actively participated in the training and implementation program.
    • The initiative significantly improved the visibility, consistency, and public perception of Cabarrus Health Alliance’s outreach efforts, helping to restore trust and engagement within the community.
